• Misinformation: Do not create fake routes, events, or businesses
• Privacy Violations: Do not share others' personal information without consent
• Platform Abuse: No attempts to hack, disrupt, or manipulate the platform
• Commercial Spam: Do not use the platform solely for advertising unrelated products or services

5. Reporting System

If you encounter content or behavior that violates these terms:

• Our team will review reports and take appropriate action
• False or malicious reports may result in penalties

Reports are taken seriously, and we respond to legitimate concerns promptly.

6. User-Generated Content & Crowdsourced Platform

You retain ownership of the routes, events, and content you create. However, by posting on Flânerie, you grant us:

• A non-exclusive, worldwide license to display your content on the platform
• The right to moderate, remove, or modify content that violates these terms
• The ability to share your content with other users as part of the service

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to post the content you share (e.g., photos, route details).

Important: Crowdsourced Nature & No Guarantees

Flânerie is a crowdsourced, community-driven platform. This means:

• Routes, swarms, and events are created by users, not by Flânerie
• We do not verify the accuracy of user-submitted information
• No Guarantees of Success: Creating swarms, events, or routes does not guarantee participation, foot traffic, or business success
• User engagement depends entirely on community interest and is outside of Flânerie's control
• Businesses may be featured in user-created swarms without their direct involvement

Business Owners - Removal Requests:

If you're a business owner and want your business removed from user-created swarms or events:

• Email us at [YOUR EMAIL HERE] with subject line "Business Removal Request"
• Include: Business name, address, specific swarms/events to remove, and proof of ownership
• We will review and respond within 5-7 business days

Note: Removal requests must be legitimate and verified. We may keep content that doesn't violate any rights or laws.

7. Intellectual Property

The Flânerie platform, including its design, code, logos, and branding, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the platform
• Use our name, logo, or branding without permission
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape our platform

8. GPS & Location Features

Some features (like business check-ins) use GPS location data:

• Location access is optional and requires your explicit permission
• Location data is used only for the specific feature you're using (e.g., verifying check-ins)
• You can disable location services at any time in your device settings

9. Third-Party Links

Flânerie may link to third-party websites or services (e.g., businesses, social media). We are not responsible for:

• Safety of locations shared by users
• Participation or engagement in routes, swarms, or events you create
• Foot traffic or business success from user-created swarms or events
• That content posted by users is truthful, accurate, or current

Crowdsourced Platform Notice: All content (routes, swarms, events) is created by community members, not verified by Flânerie. Success and participation depend entirely on community interest and engagement, which is beyond our control.

Use at your own risk. Flânerie is not liable for:

• Injuries, accidents, or incidents that occur during walking routes or events
• Interactions with other users or businesses
• Loss of data or account access
• Lack of participation in swarms, events, or routes you create
• Business outcomes (positive or negative) from user-created content
• Any damages arising from use of the platform

Safety First: Always be aware of your surroundings, follow local laws, and use common sense when exploring.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Flânerie harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the platform
